FITMOM and Baby

Indoor Mom & Baby Fitness

Session run indoors from November to April

Are you a mom with a new baby, wanting to feel fit again? FITMOM classes are a great way to get out of the house, get some exercise and make new friends. An encouraging and supportive environment means that you can work out at your own pace AND tend to your baby when needed. Babies are often fed, soothed or changed during class in between mom’s exercises!

Our FITMOM and Baby classes teach you how to safely and effectively exercise in your early postpartum days and beyond. They are designed with the best training evidence and because we specialize in all things prenatal and postpartum, our programs are always evolving as we keep up with current research.

You’ll also learn strategies to incorporate exercise into your life after baby and get support on topics related to early parenting. Most importantly, it’s a great opportunity to meet other moms in your community, who are at the same stage in life as you are.

Please bring a structured carrier or wrap to this class.  Your baby will love snuggling with you while you wear him in your baby carrier and you will love the extra resistance that wearing your baby provides!

We welcome crawlers, walkers and tots to our classes. You’re also very welcome to attend even if your baby can’t come with you!

Do you have questions? We have answers!

FITMOM & Baby Classes

All of our FITMOM and Baby Classes are currently 30 minute, live-streamed, online classes. We plan to return to indoor classes at some point, when it is safe to do so with babies in tow. Until then, our FITMOM and Baby classes will be held online and any in-person classes will be held outdoors, when allowed.

We’ve been building up a content library of pre-recorded videos for those of you who prefer to workout on your own time! We have many different types of classes, including prenatal, babywearing friendly, mobility, HIIT, core and strength classes. They come in a variety of lengths from 10 - 40 minutes and use weight, stability balls and loopbands as equipment. Try it out!
